Building the capability of people with disability and community sector orgs. We specialise in up skilling dynamic community sector employees, equipping them with skills which ensure they not only survive, but thrive in a post NDIS landscape.
Rather than seeing a disability, we see people with skills, insights, and unique perspectives.
At AbilitySeer, we stand in front, stand behind, and stand beside through any challenge, challenging the things which need to change.
Tim O’Hare holds degrees in Applied Economics and Laws form the University of Canberra, and has over 10 years experience working directly with people with disability of all kinds, three years as a Disability Advocate, NDIS support coordinator, and NDIS Appeals officer (throughout ACT and Southern NSW).
After graduating, Tim worked in a variety of legal positions, including with Slater & Gordon, and with Mark Ireland Lawyers Bathurst, where he completed the practical component of his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, working in family law, criminal law, and wills and estates.
He has taught Introduction to Economics to University of Canberra undergraduate students, Negligence Law to Charles Sturt University students, and enjoys his current role in which he shares his knowledge about the NDIS and its processes to assist community sector workers, and people with disability to get the best from the NDIS, and in implementing plans as a support coordinator.
We stand behind our work because we’re passionate about advocacy. Whether we’re supporting people with disability to implement their NDIS plan, training community orgs to beyond best practice level, appealing a decision of the NDIS relating to eligibility or the funding of a support, we pour our commitment to supporting people with disability into every project, which is why we know that you’ll love our work.
