Due to low vision and the subsequent loss of ability to drive myself I have needed help from support workers over the last 3 to 4 years. Fortunately, I only need support when doing a weekly grocery shop. Over this period I have used support workers from Ability seer about six times. The periods of support have ranged from three weeks to about three months at a stretch. Without exception the support I have had from Ability seer has been excellent both in the organisation and in the specific assistance given by the support workers. All of these wonderful fellow humans have exhibited a high levels of professionalism and genuine caring , boundless patience and and an obvious willingness to do as much for me as they could. These lovely people - I've had four helpers over the six or so periods, all came from four distinct and deferring backgrounds: Malaysia, Indo-China, India and Africa. We shared our different background stories as well as shared Aussie life-tales and this helped me in making what I came to regard each person as a friend first and foremost. I looked forward to each weekly visit mostly because I enjoyed their company. I cannot recommend Ability Seer and their wonderful team more highly
