Charter of Client Rights

Code of Conduct

As a registered NDIS Service Provider, AbilitySeer complies with the NDIS Code of Conduct. This
outlines client rights.
At AbilitySeer, we strive to uphold the rights of people with disability. Clients have the right to dignity
and respect; and to live free from abuse, exploitation, and violence.

Under the NDIS Code of Conduct, AbilitySeer will:

  1. Act with respect for individual rights to freedom of expression, self-determination, and
    decision-making in accordance with relevant laws and conventions.
  2. Respect the privacy of people with disability.
  3. Provide support and services safely and competently with care and skill.
  4. Act with integrity, honesty, and transparency.
  5. Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that might impact
    the quality and safety of support provided to people with disability.
  6. Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence, exploitation,
    neglect, and abuse.
  7. Take all reasonable steps to prevent sexual misconduct.

At AbilitySeer, we aim to:

  1. Empower people with disability to exercise choice and control in the support services they
    receive, ensuring appropriate protections are in place.
  2. Build the capacity of people with disability, their families, and their carers to make informed
    decisions about service seeking and the NDIS.
  3. Respond to and manage concerns and complaints.
